Carburetor problem

I have a 2001 Honda Rancher 350. My husband and I put a new carburetor on it, replaced fuel hoses, installed new steering bushings and bearings and rebuilt the rear end. The battery is shot on it but it’ll pull start pretty easily without choking it. However, I’ve rode it a couple times in which once I turned it off and couldn’t pull start it again and another time it died while idling after a quick 2 minute ride and wouldn’t pull start again. Is it possible that the carburetor is flooding the engine and needs to be adjusted? If so, how do I adjust the carburetor?

XMR dirty air box on the clean side but the dirty side is clean

Hey everyone.
So I went for my first ride this weekend on my new 1000xmr. When I came home I washed my bike and desided to check the air filter. When I removed the air filter, to my surprise I found it was dirty on the clean side. It’s weird cuz the dirty side, where the air filter is was perfectly clean as a new machine should be. Does anybody have any guesses on what happened?

Rancher Storage Box Options

I have a Rancher that is used for carrying a chain saw, shovels and stuff used for clearing at a small camp / farm. Does anyone have a suggestion regarding a front tool / storage container? Bungee cords are good unless you carry two or more tools. Not sold on a front metal basket.

TIA

Hard Starting… Not Battery, Not Regulator/Rectifier… Thoughts?

We use a ’97 FourTrax constantly here on the farm and it’s been giving us a bit of trouble lately. Details:

The starter was replaced a bit ago (before my time here). Battery is three weeks old and tests well. Just replaced the regulator/rectifier (had similar issues with a ’98 CBR years ago and the R/R fix did it), but still having issues.

Prime the carb -> key on -> lights (Neutral, Oil Temp) on -> push the starter —> annnnd then it gets weird.

Sometimes it feels like a dead battery with that electrical click and no turn over. Sometimes it turns over slowly with much trouble and then stops. Other times it kicks right in and turns over and over, but the engine won’t fire. Then sometimes it just works. There’s no rhyme nor reason that I can figure out (i.e. time of day, weather, moisture, heat, etc…).

My thoughts are loose connections, bad starter, something deeper in the engine making it hard to turn over.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

No lighting on 1995 Polaris Xplorer

I have a 1995 Polaris Xplorer 400 4×4 and my headlights, dash lights, and tail lights do not work. I bought an aftermarket voltage regulator and swapped it out, still no luck. The issues started occurring after I was pull starting the machine vs running off a battery. Any other help/ideas is greatly appreciated

Gear selector issue

So I have a 2015 700 the other day I got on the four wheeler and when I put it in Neutral from High or low the selector lever is in the neutral slot but the readout on the cluster panel says its in High. If I give it some gas sure enough I can drive in Neutral.
Now if I move the selector between N and R the read out on the cluster will go to neutral and I can then at that point put the lever back into the neutral slot and the 4 wheeler is now in neutral.
If I try to put in in neutral from reverse or park it will engage neutral like normal. So my issue is happening when I’m going from a forward drive gear to neutral. Does anybody know what could be going wrong and how to fix it. Thank you. Hopefully you all can make out the pictures
