Looking at a Gator Roll Up Tonneau Cover for my 2016 Dodge Ram 2500. Any one have any suggestions or experiances with the brand? I want a roll up so I can still put my quad in the bed but also would like it to be as water tight as possible for road trips etc.
I was at the Timberline/Marienville ATV trails in PA with my kids this past weekend. Outlander was running fine when on the second day, after around 4 hours of riding, it just shut off. I had around half of a tank showing on the fuel gauge when it happened. We could barely see any fuel in it and put about 3 to 3.5 gallons in. Cranked but nothing. I was trying to figure out what to do next and looking in the manual when a great guy with a Can Am stopped and asked if he could help. He looked at it a bit and then suggested checking the fuel pump fuse. It was blown. We replaced the fuse and it ran fine the next day though it was never low on fuel.
I researched the fuse problem here and electrical problems are over my head. I doubt I would be able to find a short/nicked wire and can barely use a volt meter so I will ask the dealer to look at it. My question is: Is it possible the low fuel level strained the pump to cause the fuse to blow? I was wondering if I could somehow rig a wire with another fuse in it to run straight from the battery to the fuel pump to be used in an emergency, just to get back to the truck? Does that sound like something that might work?
By the way, I wanted to do something for the guy who stopped and helped us but all he would take was a thank you and a handshake. Really cool to have people willing to help out.
So we all make fun of the Christian amy kid on YouTube that breaks everything and can’t drive. However last night I pulled my 570 out of the garage to put away some camping gear and upon letting off the throttle low range ground due to it not being in all the way I found placing the shifter in the low gate isn’t enough and I have to slam the shifter all the way forward. Now who knows if I scratched the heck out of the gears. Off to the dealer I go.
I bought a 2001 honda 300ex (kickstart) when i bought it the person said he cleaned the carb but still is still hard to start and wont stay long enough, when pressing on throttle it dies, what is wrong? Should i take the carb apart myself and rebuild it, whats the starting points on the air fuel mixture screw and pilot jet screw
Thanks
So we took it for late day trail ride yesterday. And near the beginning of the next trail we go to slow Down. And she just stumbles and dies and won’t restart. I did what I could on the trail and end up having to leave her till this morning. Got her back to the house. Started checking the basics. Ended up having no spark at the wire. Traced it back to the coil. No power going to it. Went back to the CDI box and I’ve got some power but not sure which wires I’m supposed to have power. If anyone could be of assistance.
Hello! I have a 2000 Xpedition 425 and my speedometer and AWD are not working. How can I by-pass the speedometer to get my 4 wheel drive to work? Also, I’ve looked everywhere to try to purchase a speedometer and can’t find any. Anyone know where I can get one? Thanks!
We went to the mud nationals in Hill City this year. I’m already planning on camping there next year. At first I thought it was a bit spendy ($40) per person per day. But it was worth it.
I thought it was put together very well.
Hasanyone used a temp sensor such as this? I know it won’t be as accurate as a water temp sensor. Also was concerned if the spark plug would not seat as well with the ring?
