A friend of mine brought me his 2010 sportsman 850 XP with running issues. With the help of this site and a tear down I believe the problem to be a slipped gear. I pulled the motor out today and split it. There is an arrow on the gear but no mark on the crank. Is the mark on the gear suppose to line up with the bottom of the rod journal closest to the gear? This one does not. Its a couple teeth away from that spot. Does anyone have a good pic of how it is suppose to look? http://www.polarisatvforums.com/foru…1&d=1468275601

Hi Guys. I’ve decided to have my subframe modified to accept a trx450r grab bar and, will be sending it off tomorrow. The bracket to my tail light will be cut off in the process so I’ll need to remount the tail light in another location. I know several of the guys running the 450r’s have relocated their light under the center of the rear fender. The problem I’m running into is the 450r tail light has bolts as where my light has plastic arms that pop into a rubber grommet. They were able to adapt an L shaped bracket attaching it to the light and then under the bottom of the fender. My question is does anyone know if the plug/harness that plugs into the 400x tail light is the same as the plug that goes into the 450r light? I know the shape of the light itself is different but, would it be plug and play as far as the harness/adapter/plug is concerned? Thanks for all responses.

Looking to add a winch to front of 2014 grizz 700. I will use it for snow plow as well as normal off-road use. What are you guys running and why? What do I need to stay away from.

trying to remove the side engine plastic on the drivers side. If im correct i need to first remove the plastic under the drivers seat. I have removed all of the plastic plugs around the perimeter and side rocker panel but there is one bolt and nut in the corner near where the left side of the seat would be one the floor. I can just barely see the nut can not for the life of me figure how to get a socker/wrench/ pliers or whatever on the nut to take out this on bolt. Any help is appreciated.
