So ive had 28" mega mayhems on my 800r outlander for a while green primary spring and while it went pretty good i needed more.
I scored a set of 30" silverbacks on 2016 XMR renegade beadlocks for $900 with 127 miles on them and ordered the Dalton DBO800M kit which I installed tonight.
First go around before I put everything back together was good! Decent power more than I had with just the green primary and 28’s but I felt it had more to give so I took it back apart and swapped the 3 remaining stock weights for 3 stock renegade 800 weights numbered (429) I think it was.
Holy smokes does the thing turn the F$&/ on! My love is renewed and I have a pissed off 800R that edged out a buddies new 1000r on 28" mayhems and the dbo1000rm clutch kit.
At the beginning of the summer I put the Yoshimura slip on-on the ATV and all was great, more recent within the last month or two it’s very poppy before it warms up, slow idle when it starts for a few seconds then it’s normal but when I take off if it hasn’t warmed for 5 minutes it’s very poppy at low throttle unless I punch it.

outlander 800xt G2 i have heard about people doing some extension for larger tires but would really rather not. I have 28" mega mayhems on stock wheels with a 2" lift and everything fits great.
There’s a great deal locally on some almost new 30" backs on 14" wheels and I’m wondering…..wil they fit?
If it’s not to much to ask I’d love to see everybody’s aftermarket tires!
Preferably 27’s as that’s what I’m looking to get.
My riding is really all over here in Maine. Sometime putting around the property, riding trails up north and other times really backwoods terrain and some very muddy areas.
So many tires I’ve burned myself out on looking for my outlander and just want to see what other people are running.
