Hey everyone! New to the forum, but use it for lots of helpful info. I have searched and searched and am still lost. Last week I was expoloring some new ground that my family bought in another county. I came to a creek crossing and went through no problem. On the way back across that afternoon the front tires hit a shelf underwater and rolled the quad into the creek. I got it shut down and pulled from the water onto a gravel bar. It was in the water maybe 2 mintutes. Here is the problem. When I went to start it after draing and drying the air filter it would only click. This all occured maybe 20 after intially getting wet. I checked my dipstick and it doesn’t appear there was any water in my oil. I tried jumping across the silinoid and still only got a click. Tried jumping battery to starter and still only clicked. I have all my lights and display panel working fine, but it just won’t turn over. i had to tarp it and leave it and hike out. I rounded up a friend to pull it back to the road this weekend, but would like to try and get it going to save him the long haul! Am i missing something here? Does this mean I am not getting enough from the battery to engage the starter? I have not had a problem with the battery prior to this occasion. Please Help Me!! Any and all suggestions are well. Thanks to all in advance!
