I’m trying to repair/restore my 70s pull starter, I was looking at a diagram online and notice I didn’t have #12(it’s like a little spring,maybe a return spring?) how do you install it? Is it needed? Every time assemble the starter the dogs pop out after 10-15 pulls. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
