I read redrocket and other’s threads on fuse block installs and went to tackle mine today on my 14 grizz 700. I had 8 gauge wire laying around so i used that. I know it’s overkill but it was free, and i might add my winch to the fuse block eventually. I plan on wiring up my light bar and heated grips for now. My question is how big of wire do i need for the ground to the relay? I’m going to run the 8 gauge wire from the battery to the negative and positive posts of the blue sea 6 block fuse panel. Can i just splice into the negative from the battery that runs to the fuse panel, or should i run a dedicated ground to the relay? I have an inline fuse from the battery positive to the relay. I have 8 gauge wire from the relay out to the positive post on the blue sea block. I would take pictures but nothing is installed yet because i’m waiting on a heat gun to shrink wrap all of my connections.
