I have a friend that has a RZR 1000 that climbed China Wall at Glamis last season. A week ago at SAINT Anthony’s dunes in Idaho he said that he couldn’t climb Choke Berry Hill. Barely passed the 1/2 way before turning down. Both times he had the same paddle tires (16 paddle) on the machine. He has a lot of extra weight, maybe 600 to 800 lbs. Two batteries, heavy seats, roof, full doors,14 toggle switches for 14 lights, spare tire, tire carrier, cooler box, tools etc. etc. Plus he is 6ft. 4in. 300lbs. I read that Choke Berry is 55 Degrees angle. I tried to find the degrees for China wall, but didn’t find it. He also raced a stock Artic Cat 1000 at Marysville Utah and got spanked in two short races. In Marysville he had his 31 inch Mongrels on with bead locks. They are 31/2 inches taller than stock with a huge roll out plus they are heavier. Has anyone out there climbed both hills, and what do you think is a harder climb? Thanks!
