Hey campers! My son’s 94 Fourtrax (200 TRX D type 2) is getting the cylinder honed due to scoring after an abrupt oil loss. The machine shop wanted me to get an oversized piston (0.25 mm) before the actual honing occurs.
However…
I am able to find said piston, I think. However, the corresponding rings seem to be eluding me.
The stock cylinder ID is supposed to be 65.000-65.010 mm.
the stock piston OD is supposed to be 64.962-64.982 mm.
So I hope I am using the right measurement when I am using the cylinder OD. It would be 65.25 mm?
Anyone know where I can find oversized rings to go with this?
