Wheel and tire woes for hardball…..

So….

I own a stock 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500 that has been absolutely my baby since i bought it new off the showroom floor. in fact i keep it detailed like the day i bought it i love it so much.

Back when i got the quad i bough a set of ITP Spider Tracks on ITP wheel measuring:

25×9.5×12 fronts
25×12.5.12 rears

I use these for snow and sand duties. Still an excellent tire and have gotten great longevity out of them.

When i wasn’t in the snow or sand i just trucked around on the stock goodyear tracker Ps.

Well now I have the issue that i am an old fart and my ride sees more time on the hardball in the subdivision than in the woods. So just going down to the mailbox everyday and general cruising the neighborhood the tracker Ps are now racing slicks. not a knob left on them. I plan to replace them with some mud lites.

I thought getting new wheels and tires for hardball would be easy. i remember Polaris even selling a kit back in the day when i got my quad. not so much.

I found the Carlisle all trail tire and it has great reviews for the usage i need, but i cannot find a wheel to fit the Polaris ATV in the proper sizes…

Basically i am throwing a line out there as to what anyone else is using for a hardball tire. I would love these all trails but cannot get a wheel to fit. I want something similar without breaking the bank.

thanks…. oh and take it easy on me…. its my first post here 🙂
