I found what I feel to be a great deal on a 2000 trx400ex. I’m looking at it tomorrow and just wondering what advice you guys have. He was very friendly, well spoken and polite and seemed to get excited when I asked if we could start it. I know that doesn’t mean much but it didn’t set off any red flags. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If all goes well I could have a new (to me) quad. You can look at the post and pictures below.
"2000 Honda TRX400EX with two sets of Hauler sand paddles on aluminum rims and an extra set of dirt tires, Clymer manual, K&N filter, HMF performance exhaust, custom seat, new swing arm, new front plastic, additional racing plastic (cut fenders for sand), Honda small parts kit. It starts easy, runs strong, and is in good condition. Always garaged.
Flatbed trailer, 8ft X 12ft, heavy duty tube steel frame, low profile (easy to load), new paint and plywood decking put on a few years ago, aluminum ramps, locked storage box, plenty of tie downs, always garaged"
