Next the Arctic Cat blew the front diff. Limped it back to the highway and loaded it on the truck.
Then the 850XP broke the left rear lower control arm. Surprisingly it still rode like normal. Between the shock and the sway bar it held everything together pretty good for a slow w ride back to camp. I was following him and it took a while to figure out what was hanging down. It broke right where the sway bar bracket was welded.
My rack support bolts worked loose again after our second trip up the mountain. I was giving it hell on the way back to camp and didn’t notice until my box and rack hit the ground behind me. Rack supports are wrecked. If I find the time and ambition I might come up with a stronger rack support/rear bumper combo but I’ll probably end up replacing it with factory parts.
Weather was too ugly so we had to turn around and head back down before we got struck by lightning.
Finally this morning I hopped in the RZR to buzz the kids around the campground and found one of the front wheel bearings was ratched.
Nothing too costly overall and between the 6 machines we put on about 4000km this week.
