I will be traveling from Georgia to Sacramento in December for a business trip. I have two free days December 9th & 10th and my plans where to rent a car and drive down to Oceano (since that is the closest dunes near Sacramento) and rent a side-by-side. But according to all the rental companies to rent what I really want to rent I have to be 40 years old. Seems a little crazy to me but I do understand. I am 27 years old and a home I own Polaris XP Turbo, but the rental companies will not work with me. It has been on my bucket list to ride in the California dunes for years (Glamis would be preferred). But I am not going to ride 4 hours to go and rent a small 4 wheeler and not enjoy myself.
My question is this, will anyone be out there on December 9th or 10th? that would be willing to just let me ride? I am not asking to drive unless they got to know me and would allow me to drive at least once. I really would like to either ride in a sand-rail, baja truck, or a nice tricked out RZR. Or would any of you guys happen to know of someone I could get in touch with that would allow me to ride along? I will be more than glad to pay any of you some cash to allow me this, lunch, gas, beer whatever would help you guys out.
