Ok so I have a quick question. I am tired of changing air filter on my RZR S so often and being so paranoid about dust and snow in the winter. I do a lot of riding on the machine and was thinking about getting some universal foam filter and making a little plastic piece to hold the foam and slide it in the intake between the seats. This would cut down on the dust into the clutch as well and help cut down the dust and snow in the winter that gets into the airbox. My thought is kind of like how the newer machines with the intakes on the side fenders have the prefilter foam in the intakes. My question is what type of foam should I use? If you have a link that would be awesome. I know my uncle has a 15 ace 570 and his is a coarse foam stuff in the intake. I just feel it would be worth spending $20 to help keep less crap out of the air box and clutch and would probably save me more than that when I got an extended engine life and extended air filter life. I already have an outerwares prefilter on my air filter but I figure the best filtration on a budget is what I am looking for. I can’t afford a whole air box with the spin style filters.
