I’ve posted about this before but I have searched for a more in depth answer/reasoning with no luck.
I have a 450 outie 2015, and Every time I somewhat rapidly accelerate or hit the foot brake I hear that Can-Am "thunk" out of the motor. I have been told it is to do with the belt drive and it is normal. I can understand it and if it’s normal its no biggie but I cant find anywhere where can-am says its normal or really anyone besides us on these forums saying its normal. Also I have been looking for how these belt drive motors work but can’t find anything anywhere. I want to see drawn out what causes the noise and how power is transfered etc but no luck. Is there anywhere someone can point me??? And is this actually in fact normal???
