I’ve been thinking about getting a spare CDI for my 87 350 and they are quite $$$$… but 300’s are are half or third of the price (89 TRX 300’s). If you were to re-pin the connector for the 350 to the 300 pinout. I don’t see why it wouldn’t work? Has anyone tried this , or grabbed a generic CDI and rewired it into their 350 without any issues?
Other than ignition timing at higher RPM’s, it SHOULD work….
