TRX ECU identification

Hi,

I have a TRX400EX (2004) loom and electrics which I am using to convert an XR400 to electric start.

The ECU that was fitted to the loom has the typical two electrical connector plugs but also a single red/green wire coming from it.

Can anyone confirm:

It is a TRX400EX ECU?
What the single red/green wire is for as it’s not shown on the wiring diagram?
