Finally took delivery of my new ride yesterday…it’s a 2015 Outlander Max 650XT in brushed aluminum. I have a radiator protector, 4" rack extender, and extreme front bumper from BRP, a set of single Flex-Grip gear holders for my gun, and a full skid plate package from Ricochet on the way so far as accessories.
I had an interesting experience during delivery I wanted to share. As they were bringing me through my machine here is what I was told:
"there are 2 keys…use the black one if you are jamming on wide open trails, the grey one if you are doing hilly, rocky, tight technical stuff"…."If you are on flat wide open trails you can use high…make sure you put it in low for hilly, rocky, and muddy trails, pulling someone out and/or towing something so you don’t smoke the belt". After I was done with the walk around I had to go back inside and sign a delivery checklist.
Has anyone else had that conversation at delivery
