Experts,
I have recently rebuilt an 05 rubi. I had to replace the carb as the old one was too far gone. I bought an OEM carb (not China crap). It will cold start very easy with choke and will idle very smooth once warm. If you start giving throttle it starts getting sluggish. I have noticed the vacuum piston in the carb bouncing when the throttle is between 1/4 to 1/2. Once it gets above about 1/2 you can feel the bike response and will take off and run very good. While in the 1/4 to 1/2 you can add some choke to smooth it out.

So I am assuming it is starving for fuel when 1/4 to 1/2 assuming it is from the bouncing vacuum piston not keeping the jet open. Is this by design? What else can I do to get this to respond in all throttle ranges?
Thanks,
Mike
