Just got my TCP radiator for my XMR today.
Install was easy enough. The worst part of it was bleeding the system. For some reason I had to bleed the heads twice for it to stay at 4 bars. It was a head scratcher, but it is fine now.
Since they claim that the "mudder version" that I got is the best for the mud, I did a little test with a small cardboard box I had laying around the garage. The radiator is 18 inches wide by 12 inches tall. I flattened the box out and it measured approx 10.75 inches by 14.5 inches, 72ish % of the total area of the radiator.
When the fan came on after I had it running for 20 minutes or so and was satisfied with the coolant fill/bleeding, I covered the radiator with the flattened box. Even with one 28% of the radiator getting free flowing are the temperature gauge never rose above 4 bars, and while the fan was on for around 6 to 8 minutes or so, the temperature never rose above 4 bars that I saw!
So far I am impressed! We are headed to catfish pond in martinsville va this weekend, and with all the rain we have had for the last 14 days, its going to be put to the test!
Im going to try to post a youtube video and Ill post a link.
