Stock skids

How are the newer stock skids holding up?? They are much thicker then the G1 atvs.
I just got a call from my dealer and he said I have enough points to get a free front skid!
So I would only need to buy rear and a arm skids for the complete set.
I always have used ricochet in the past and they are excellent except for weight and the hardware used. Seems like you put them on and the rocks bang up the hardware so I never was able to take them off but honestly didn’t need to.
So I need some more advice and info from you guys.
Options:
1. Buy the rest of the oem skids
2. Buy ricochet or other aftermarket
3. I currently have a brand new set of brand new ricochet skids still in plastic but for a G1 renegade. … maybe I can mount them up some how? Are the frames and arms that different where I couldn’t get it to work?

What do you guys think?
And the more I save the more I can spend on other mods
