Squeal at low speed 2012 Sportsman 850 XP Touring

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased a 2012 850 Touring with 2000 miles. It had some issues when I bought it as I have had to change the front wheel bearings, a lower ball joint and a front drive shaft u-joint (next to front differential). The rear had been changed and is good. All fluids have been changed as well as I did the brakes on all three wheels.

When I drive it, it has a squeal/squeak that starts at about 5 mph and quits just as you get past 10 mph. It does not appear to be rotational in that it does not get louder or quieter as you accelerate or have that wish/wish sound like it comes and goes as the shafts go around.

No oil leaks on the cv boots and it will not increase or quit when turning the bars lock to lock.

Noise sounds like it is coming from up front so no heat shields to vibrate. Can’t make it stop when grabbing the brake or using the foot brake.

Anybody have any suggestions as to what this may be? I just come off a 08 Sportsman 500 Touring so this is an entirely new animal to me.

It does have EPS and that works as it should.

Thanx for reading this!
