Hello my fellow Honda riders. I’m in need of some opinions on what could be the problem with my quad. I recently went riding my quad at the local spot in my town. After a few hours of riding I stopped to take a break. When i went to start my quad I didn’t have any power. I noticed the led lights i had wired to my quad had melted so I came to the conclusion that the melted wiring sorted out my battery. I called the place I order a lot of my parts and gear from and explained what happened. I was tiled that is either my battery or my stator. They said to jump start my quad and remove the positive or negative wire from the battery and if it stayed running that it was my battery and that if it dies it was my stator. I did that, and according to the above i was given I determined it was the battery. I caked them back and ordered a new battery. I received the battery, charged it and then went riding a few days later. When I returned home I went to start it and it was dead again. I did the test on it that I was told to do the first time and figured it was the battery again. I’m needing advice on what else could be the problem. Is there anything else that might have shorted out when the led lights messed up electrical wise that could be the problem aside from the battery and stator. Any help is much appreciated
