Solenoid question hoping a wiring wiz is out there!!

Hey guys I really would appreciate your input. This question is actually about a 2000 Traxter 500 but there are tons of people here that might be able to help. I bought this non running from someone who had no knowledge of the machine as they also acquired it from someone else non running. As I replace the parts just want to make sure they are not shorted out. I can tell wires have been moved around from factory thus my concern and cant seem to get help from anyone or find a wiring diagram.

I attached the picture of the current configuration of the wiring of the solenoid. The first big lug has two wires, the medium red wire runs to the fuse box. I assume this is where the fuse box gets power?? That same big lug has the big red wire from the battery. The other big lug has the big wire that goes straight to the starter.

Now the little spades are the confusion. The white/red wire is consistently hot coming to the little spade whether the ignition key is turned on or not. Just sitting there disconnected from the solenoid non running this wire is hot. When I connect this wire it is making the yellow wire on the other spade hot. If I disconnect the yellow wire form the spade it has no power so I know the power is coming from the solenoid to the yellow wire from the power supplied by the white wire as once I connect it becomes hot. According to what some have said where the yellow wire currently this should be a ground?? I am afraid if I run that to a ground something will short out as power is coming out of the spade. Also, the white/red wire shouldn’t that only get power when I hit the ignition button??? Please advise.

Thanks again!
