Snow!

How many of us enjoy riding in the snow this time of year? I love that early and late season when there is not too much snow but enough to make it a lot of slip sliding fun. Challenging to anticipate the deeper drifts and power through them, drifting around bends in the trail, heck making your own trail through the powder is a blast itself. The additional ground clearance of the SP is great too.

And I must admit I like the warmth coming off that right side this time of year. Hahaha! I do!

The only thing that I have had to worry about was the snow can get packed up into and around the radiator – I’d think that would perform cooling even better, but the fan still comes on pretty often even in the cold temps.

Word of caution to those who transport their wheeler in the bed of their pickup – the bed liner is quite slippery with snow on it. I have learned to crawl the machine up the ramps so I won’t go slamming into the front rail of the bed. I’ve always been one of those people who don’t like those few moments when my wheels are on the ramps so I tend to get in and out of the truck pretty quickly, and the first time I did in the snow I thought I was going through the back window of my truck!

These darn machines are SO MUCH FUN!

Merry Christmas to everyone here on the forums – I have learned a lot from you all!
