so….. i had an over heating problem that took forever and about $400 in parts before i found the $15 fix, the circuit breaker. second to last ride, i got stuck in a hole and the bike started to loose power and died in a small hole. it had problems starting then wouldn’t. hydro locked. pulled it out, drained the exhaust (witch has never got water in it before) checked the oil and it was clean. pulled plugs, turned it over and out comes dirty water. on the side of the trail, flushed out the top end by putting water in the spark plug openings and turning it over, repeating till it came clean. put plugs in and started right up. let it run for 20 minutes then checked the oil and it was clean. no problems for the 8 mile ride home. change the oil anyway. last weekend i went through a small water spot and the motor started to cut out again so i gave it gas and it came out of it. when we came to a stop i checked the oil and it was grayish. on about mile 9 from the 10 mile ride home, temp light came on. pulled over let it cool down and got it to the truck. thats when i saw the smoke. changed the oil and it was still grey. changed it again and it is clean now an still smokes. went to put some marvels mystery oil on top of the heads and oil cam out of the head gasket on the side that the cylinder was up. so…. bike runs pretty good but sometimes stalls on a quick snap of the throttle (in park). any thoughts? obviously it needs a head gasket so is this hard to do? im trading it in but thats not going to work with a smoking bike.
