Shooting “gangsta style”

Yep ….just what the title says. I was driving down my private road yesterday when I noticed the same stray cat again close to the house. I shot one 9 mm round close to scare him away. Stupid cat ran to the corner of the car port. This time I had to shoot gansta style across the hood of my truck because I was too lazy to get out. Bam! That one scared him off. So I decide to enter my carport/barn to get a shovel so I can repair ruts that have eroded from all the rain we have had ( North of Houston). I smelled gas, hmmmm? Walked to another room to get the shovel and all my equipment are fine and so are all the gas cans, hmmmm? Walking out of the last doorway and it smells strong now! Hmmmm? Walking toward the four 55 gallon barrels I store fuel in for emergencies and I find my leak. I missed the cat by 15 feet and shot a hole thru my wall and thru one barrel about a foot from the ground! Oh Lord I say. Get this barrel outa here quick. I decide to lay it on it’s side so the air in the barrel will be up where I just grazed it. I guess I laid it down too quickly and the two and a half inch plug popped off allowing to glug, glug on my shoes and floor. Jesus! I run to turn off my breaker to my water well that has about 5 gallons of gas under the control box! Done. So I grab my 2 wheeled dolly and tote it to a 5 inch cement ledge. I can’t get it up the square ledge, all the while spraying 2 9mm holes of gas everywhere. I man handle it over the ledge, use the dolly To get it AWAY from everything. I grab sticks from the drive way and plug the holes. Whew……now I can breath and think about this. I grab my hand pump for the gas and install it ( cross threaded because I’m hurrying) . Well all can say is my truck, my car, my four wheeler, my riding mower, my two empty gas cans and my Ford 8 N tractor are full of gas now! The level in the barrel is below the holes so every thing is ok now. Like I said already…..I don’t shoot so good with my left hand "gansta style" Oh! perhaps the worst part of this story…….I was scaring off my own cat! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
