So I have a 2005 trx250ex with the pedal shift and no clutch lever to pull. Bike operates great but sometimes won’t shift out of reverse. When it does get stuck in reverse, if you simply turn the bike off it will then easily let you pull up on the pedal and shift back into neutral.

Could this be a simple adjustment of the reverse cable not letting go or getting hung up for some reason?

Anyone with a similar experience in the past please respond. Also, I am not interested in bypassing the reverse cable since my young son rides this quad. Thanks.
