I’m no spring chicken and my 7 year old son is just starting to quad.
This has me thinking about the safety of it all. I’ve read about plenty of bad injuries and deaths to really want to start off my son on the right foot.

For sure the first thing in safety is how to ride but there’s always the possibility of something unexpected happening.

I’ve always wore a good helmet while riding but not much more.
Now i’m looking at chest protectors, boots and pretty much full motocross gear.

I mostly ride big mountain trails, most are pretty easy but we come into sketchy stuff now and then and I ride with a bunch of nut bags on dirt bikes…lol( At my own pace though)

What does everyone else wear? I see guys in t-shirts and backwards hats riding… No thanks, To me there’s way to much to risk…
