So the stator went out on my 07 700 last winter. Replaced with an RM and did the case cover upgrade at the same time. I noticed that the small plug on the RM stator would not fit into the stock female plug under any circumstances, so I spliced in the old male connector from the stock stator. I chalked that up to a bad batch of RM connectors, but did leave website feedback of the problem. No response.

Fast forward to last week. I failed to protect the stator wire with some corrugated plastic, wore through and burnt it up. Got another RM stator and guess what? The little clip doesn’t work on this one either!

Anyone else had this problem?
