Ok, So in anticipation of purchasing a 570, and the planned move of the current STI Black Diamond ATR’s to said 570, I was looking to see if there were any decent tires available to put on the Hawkeye in the stock tire size (23"x10"x12" R, 23"x8"x12" F)… and the option are…. Carlisle 489’s or, STI Black Diamond ATR’s… :rocketwhore:
Luckily, I know the Black Diamonds are great tires, and in the stock size they will put a little pep back into the Hawkeye that the 25" tires took out.
But good lord it’s frustrating to only have 2 choices. There is only one choice in 24"x10"x12" the EFX Motoforce. and 10 options in the 24"x8"x12" but all but one of those doesn’t have the corresponding 24"x10"x12" rear tires…
so it looks like the Hawkeye will remain on STI Black Diamond ATR’s. The debate remains on if it will be stock size of the current tires as is. And another bit of a shocker, the STI’s are cheaper than the stock tires… go figure.
