So, first of all, thanks in advance for any answers!
This question is not about a Yamaha, but a Kawasaki Bayou 300, a 98.
It’s hard to find the right words to describe the problem.
When it is running in neutral, and you put it in gear, it wants to just go….. normally when you put it in gear, you would have to rev it up to make it go. Now it seems like the clutch is always applied? I changed the one way bearing, but that wasn’t the problem.
I had the centrifugal clutch out and it looks good, like there is nothing wrong with it, The springs move freely and are not weak.
The way I understand it, is that when you rev the motor, the centrifugal clutch expands, and that’s what makes the machine go. So, theoretically, if it just goes and when you come up to a stop, it will chug and die. Just like if you are in a car and you don’t push in the clutch.
