Anyway, I have a few questions:
1. I took it out for its first trail ride today, it was a very easy trail that even a 2wd drive truck could have done. I kept it half throttle or less most of the time for engine break in. I drove on the public roads to get to the trails (it’s not a big deal here in Korea in the countryside towns) and was forced to take it up to about 40mph a few times, is that bad for engine break in?
2. I hear a lot of gear clunking. When I shift from H to R or back and that moment when you push the throttle after being in gear, I hear a big clunk, like the moment the ATV first moves when it’s in reverse. Is that normal? Also, times when I was going downhill with the throttle on, I hear clunking when I hit some bumps.
3. I feel the descent control on when going down hill even on H, is that just engine braking? And why does the engine braking feel so unnatural, like really slows down when you let go of the throttle. I don’t remember ever having engine braking in my previous ATVs (but they were race quads from the 80s and 90s).
4. Is it ok to have 4×4 on at higher speeds? I mean since it’s AWD, on demand, won’t it just be in 4×2 mode until the wheel slips? I was switching it from 4×2 to 4×4 (at a full stop of course), depending on the trail or road I was on, it would be convenient if I could just leave it on 4×4 the whole time.
