I’m new to my Can-Am and to CVT transmissions. I rode my ’10 Outlander 500Max today and while riding in high range at 15-17 mph, it chattered going up a moderately steep hill. I wasn’t giving it much gas at the time and the minute I got to the top, it stopped and didn’t do it again all day. Is that I sign that I should have been in low range? I rode it 80 miles last week and it never did that, but I wasn’t going as slow as I did today (riding with a VERY slow person in front of me). If I’m going at a slow pace, is it better to ride in low range? Thanks in advance…:th_smiliethumbsup:
