Vehicle description – 2014 RZR Xp4 900 with stage 2 and XP1000 wheels and tires.
On two different rides on different days I’ll be traveling at a relative slow speed, under 10mph, through a rocky trial and the power steering will quite and the steering wheel will shoot straight and be hard to steer. The power steering light will come on a long with the CEL. I’ll stop, turn it off and re start, power steering is back and the CEL will be off. I’ll run with the gauge on the voltage screen and I’ll see 13.9 to 14.1 at higher RPM, 12.7 or higher at idle.
I see others have had issues with the voltage regulator running too high, but I haven’t seen past 14.1 or 14.2 tops. No codes that I can see, is there a way to access the codes later or can a shop pull the codes?
