I have a 2013 Polaris 850 XP that keeps dying when I get in mud hole or in water. I have die electric greased all connections checked fuel pump pressure and fuel flow volume. Fuel pressure is 43 psi. The fuel volume at key on is 2 oz. per key cycle. I have also changed champion plugs to NGK’s! Checked boots on intake and are good! Changed stock exhaust to slip on and nothing changes. Throttle response hesitate from idle if you go full throttle from idle. It does good if you go full throttle from about 1800 rpm’s. It was going dead when muffler went under water. When I changed plugs and added some alcohol to fresh tank of gas it would not go dead when muffler went under water but still go dead when I ride it in deep mud hole. It is not snorkeled and I don’t not get it deep enough to get in intake. I have had it deep enough to cover 29.5 ol2’s and won’t go dead. Even throw water on coil mass air tps sensor and spark plug wires and will not go dead. When I go ride it with friends and first deep mud hole it does. When it starts dying it will slowly loose rpm’s till it dies. I winch it out mud hole and check oil and intake and they are good. Try to start it back and it will start it slowly builds rpm’s back to normal idle. Ready to ride and runs good till I get in another mud hole. Any body else have this problems or have suggestions please share! Thanks
