Picked up a 300EX yesterday! Couple minor things to do.

Moving out of the "New Member Introductions" section and onto the rest of the forum now. I’d been keeping an eye on Craigslist and the Facebook groups. This one struck me as a good deal so I went to check it out in person. Everything checked out nicely except for a gas drip out of the carb. I can’t imagine it being that big of a deal to fix so we agreed to knock another $50 off the price from where we had it. Ended up getting this ’02 300EX for $1150.

Has a Sparks full exhaust, jet kit (specs unknown), Azonic flat bars, Armadillo skid plate, K&N, beadlock wheels, and I believe that’s about it. Came with all the stock pieces too.

Is the exhaust really doing a whole lot? And is the factory exhaust much quieter? I’m exploring the option of selling this exhaust and putting the factory back on to recoup a bit of money if there’s a market for it. Not sure if I like the wide flat bars for my wife either.

When I have the clutch pulled in and engage a gear, it starts to roll. When braking, it doesn’t stall out. I’ll have to look into that.

Gas drip, have to look into that as well.

All-in-all, I’m very happy with the purchase!
