Hey guys,
I picked up a ds650 for a project about a month ago. Drained the oil and got EXTREMELY thin and silver oil, followed by chunks of aluminum. I decided to crack the case open, and this is what I found. How important is the piece that broke, should I replace that side of the case, or simply put it back together? This piece is (was) located at the bottom part of the crank case, on the right hand (main drive side) of the crank case.
