Ok looking for some help. Have a 2004 sportsman Polaris 500 ho and its overheating so did the following
1. Pulled and tested thermostat checked ok in boiling water opened and closed
2. Pulled water pump checked impeller no gunk and looked good no parts missing on impeller
3. Tested fan jumped and activated and ran fan
4. Remade connection from fan to sensor at bottom of radiator, not sure what sensor is called,as corroded bad
5. Ran wheeler to barn to pick up snowplow blade fan did activate on way let set in driveway running for awhile and noticed after 10 minutes or so reservoir starting boiling again and spitting antifreeze.
6. Checked all hoses and not leaking anywhere
7. Also when filled radiator jacked up reared to get any air out.
So if anyone has any suggestions that I might have overlooked or other parts that need looking at I would appreciate it and thanks in advanced. Also checked the radiator for debri on both sides can shine a flashlight thru front and back good light pass thru.
