Outlander filler opening in rear wheel well – foam tape

First I just wanted to state that I know these are ATV’s and yes I enjoy getting dirty and muddy most times, however especially when going hunting or touring around with my young kids I don’t. So this is a quick, cheap, easy solution I wanted to post for anyone else who may be in the same situation.

This was a really simple solution to stopping water and dust from coming up through the fuel filler cut-out in the right rear fender. I put some 3/8" foam tape around the fuel filler neck then jammed it down between the fender and neck. This does not squeak or anything. No more dust or water being sprayed up through on to the right side of the seat of my pants.

I have had this on all spring and summer and have never had to touch it, it stays put and works well.
