Opinions on riding experiences with both the XMR and Max XTP?

Anyone have real riding experiences with both the XMR and Max XTP? I’m really on the fence between the two. They seem so close now, since they both have the same Fox suspension. If I were to buy the XTP, I would most likely look to do the rad-relocate anyway to help with cooling and keeping the radiator cleaner, which would cost $300+. If I buy the XMR, I would definitely buy the Passenger seat for an additional $600. MSRP prices are close on both, 1000 Max XTP is $15,349, and the 1000 XMR in Manta Green $14,799. I did a side by side comparison, and here are some of the differences between the two: XMR is 176 lbs heavier, extra Low gear, 2" higher ground clearance, no front rack due to radiator, Length and Width of machine are 3" and 4" greater respectively, probably due to added mudguards, no passenger seat, and completely different wheels and tires which probably accounts for the huge weight difference. The obvious question is how will I ride it primarily, trails or mud? The answer is definitely more trails, but I have friends that would definitely coax me into the mud! Which one do I like better? I really love the look of the Manta Green over the Orange/Blk XTP, but I’m also a KTM guy so Orange doesn’t bother me to much either! I’m not opposed to a 850 either, but you can’t buy a 850 XMR in Manta Green, it’s only available in 1000. And before you tell me, yes I know the other XMR colors are $400-$500 cheaper, but I’d have to get the Manta Green! So, I’m looking for opinions from people that have ridden or owned both. I guess my biggest concern is the XMR wheels and tires vs the XTP. I have to think that would be the biggest difference in the overall ride between the 2 machines. I have another thought of maybe selling the XMR wheels and tires in favor of something a little more trail worthy like Maxxis Bighorns or seeing if a dealer would give me some sort of credit if I opted for something different. Can the Silverbacks be ridden on grass without tearing it up to bad? And how are they on trails and rocks? Any comments or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
