Ok… how good is the 570 SP in snow??

Hey there,

I purchased my 570sp about 6 weeks ago. I’ve taken it out a few times on the trails. This thing is AWESOME. So far, I haven’t had any heat issues. Outside of a few times it has stalled (usually when I’m just starting out, and riding it hard in the first couple of minutes. It starts back up, and doesn’t do it again until the next time it’s cold), it has been problem free.

I live about a mile from a 3 mile pond, and can get to it by a camp road this winter. My question is… how good are these things stock in snow? What can I expect for traction? I live in Coastal Maine… so it’s not as bad as living in the County (we can get about 6-10 inches in a storm here).

  • Are there tires that would be better than stock specifically for snow?
  • Would tracks be worth it?
  • Would I be better off just getting a sled?

Thank you for your help… this noob appreciates it :slaphappy:
