noob cant find where to add diff oil 1999 Grizzly 600

Yes, it’s just that retarded, right? No, as you’ve already gathered I’m not an expert mechanic :grin2: but do have the service manual for my 1999 Yamaha Grizzly 600 and have turned more than a few wrenches in my 40 years. I’m not ashamed to ask for help nor will ever shame somebody for asking. :wink2:
I traded an old 250 dual sport Kawi for it that wasn’t in much better shape so I thought I came out like a bandido!
I’m in the heart of north Alabama, we have a little bit of just about every kind of weather so I just want to build this to suit, mostly utility, maybe a trail ride every now & then, for around the house and the 40 acre farm down the road. Love the looks of them lifted & spaced with those dam Mayhems.
So I serviced the sheaves, replaced the belt, got new fuel petcock & gauge, stator, air filter, oil filter & carb in and on and waiting a couple days to figure this one out – I’ve been lurking for a while now and hoped I wouldn’t have to bother but he11 I give up.

There’s a drain for the engine oil, and a filler bolt.
There’s a drain for the diff gear oil, but for the life of me can’t find it’s filler bolt.

The manual just says Remove: – Oil Filler Bolt. No pic, no number beside it with the arrow pointing to the part on the diagram, etc. My searches have all pointed me to the front and rear differentials like the main diff is some mystery machine part of the Grizz . I thought I was on it last night when tried the actual bolt right beside the oil filler, but found it to have a spring and a ball under like no other fill port I’ve seen so found it on the shift fork diagram today. Do I add diff gear oil there? Surely sae 80 doesn’t go in the same hole 10w30 goes in?
I do appreciate you all looking and any help would be fantastic! Thanks for having me and I look forward to returning a favor for a fellow Grizzer one day.
