No maintenance required message even well past 10hr?

Hey guys, I picked up a 2015 outlander max xt this summer and I am in love, its my first ATV of my own! I have a strange question though, when I hit 10hrs a friend and I did the 10hr service on it, had no issues, changed oil, filter and the gearbox fluid. I have had zero issues with it, but I knew I would eventually need to bring it in to the dealer if I wanted the Maintenance required message to go away if it annoyed me enough.

Well, I am now well over 10hrs, probably close to 20hrs or more and the message has still not come on. I called my dealer today and the service department was a little unsure on why it hadn’t come on yet but he told me I could bring it in and they would hook it up and check things out and that way it would be documented that the service had been done in there system, free of charge I might add which is pretty nice of them.

I am wondering, maybe the message wont come on even after 10hrs if I havent hit a certain mileage yet? I haven’t driven it very fast for very long because I was still getting used to everything about it, and trying not to die so I assume even with 10hrs it has very low miles still (ill have to double check when I get home) but I was just curious if anyone else has had this happen?

Thanks everyone!
