Recent model years: Which has fewest issues?

I apologize if this has been asked before recently, I didn’t find it in a search.
I’m in the market for a brand new Grizzly 700. I’ll be making a list of dealers within a few hundred miles of here and calling to find out what they have on hand.

If a 2016 is the way to go, I’ll do that. But if a 2015 or 2014 is just as good, and I find a dealer that still has one and has marked it down a lot, I’d like to know whether that would be a good idea to pick that up instead.

Thanks for your input!

First service

Tomorrow I’m going to ride with some family and freinds for the day I currently have 173 miles and 18.3 hours the Manual says 20 hours or 200 miles but I should be fine if I change it in the morning right? What else should I check tomorrow ? Also when should I change the front and rear diff oil? Thanks! :gcrules:

Clunking noise

This is a new 16 570. I was doubling a thicky thick girl 200lbs. I’m 200lbs and was going up a bumpy rocky rutted trail and my bike made a bad clunk noise. I’m not sure if it was the trans, driveline noise, clutches or u joints. Or did it bottom out and scrape the bottom. The suspension was set to the softest setting and I noticed it was squatted a lot with her thick butt on it. And that was without me on it. When I got home I set the springs up 3 clicks and its a lot stiffer now. What do u guys think?

Internet pricing for accessories

So I can’t help but notice that all the "different" stores selling discounted Polaris parts and accessories online have the exact same store formats. Except for variable pricing, colors and names.

Same model selection. Same parts list. Same "showing the same discontinued plow mount that has been superseded by this redesigned part".

Help me cut to the chase- does partshark.com have the best mix of pricing and shipping?

Thanks

Clicking noise in front end

I’ve noticed on my 2016 570 that when I am going slow (under 30km/h) or slowing down and get under 30, that I hear a ticking noise coming from the front end. Now I’ve looked under, felt under, and nothing is loose. No idea where the noise is coming from. Drives great, just that noise. And when I go through a mud puddle or any bit of water the noise will actually disappear for a bit.

Anyone else have this issue or know what it could be?

Hello All

I’ve got a huge problem, hopefully someone can assist me with this. I have a 2012 Sportsman 550. The bike will only run off battery power. Once the battery dies the bike dies. I have attempted to test the stator and rectifier and only got a 0.00 reading. I’m also getting the same reading from the battery while the bike is turned on. Maybe the multimeter is bad but its brand new. The battery is only six months old. Thanks in advance for any help.
