01 Traxter 500 NOT STARTING

My traxter is having serious troubles starting. I had just changed the rear differential oil, although I don’t think that is the problem but just a coincidence. When I tried to start, it wouldn’t crank over. Took the spark plugs out and sanded, and it is torqued to spec.

I took the carburetor apart and cleaned it all with carb cleaner, also ensuring the rubber gaskets were taken off. Put that back together and still nothing.

I’ve had multiple starting problems in the past, but not this bad. Perhaps a fuel pump? If anybody has anymore things to check before I spend the money for a new one, that would be great. Thanks!

Exhaust and snorkel

What’s up everybody. So I purchased a 2016 scrambler 1000 XP and was looking to do a snorkel and exhaust WITHOUT needing a fuel programmer. I have seen some comments about with the duals you lose back pressure when under water and water comes in through the exhaust (I want to avoid that happening).

So my question, would a single aftermarket slip-on be more mud/water worthy than a dual aftermarket setup?

Interchangeable parts for recon

Hey folks just wondering if y’all might help me figure out what year models of the recon are interchangeable with a 2017 model. Specifically the front rack and bumper assembly? Mine had a run in with a locust post and I would rather buy used than shell out the $473 to buy it new. Thanks for any help provided!

2013 Outlander 800 xt p

Hey,
I’ve been considering getting a outlander but I’ve been contemplating between a grizzly. The reason I’m interested in the outlander is for 2 up riding, but what I’m unsure about is the reliability and dependability that I can expect from the grizzly. I just don’t want to buy a money pit.
The one I’m looking at is a 2013 800 xt-p max, with 1200 miles 90 hrs and a plow. It’s adult owned and maintained and Full service done at 1050. He’s ready to sell it for 8k.

I currently have a 1988 Honda Trx300, I’ve never had a can am before.
Any info will be much appreciated
Thanks

Starter Removal

Need some help on how to remove the starter on my 2004 sportsman 500 HO.
I’ve seen videos, read some threads on how to do it without removing the clutch cover, but my 1st problem is removing the air tube thingy blocking the way out for the starter without having to take all the plastic off. The videos I’ve seen show just taking off a couple of screws, but mine doesn’t have the same design. The air thingy actually goes behind the plastic and up towards the top of the dash ????. Sure would appreciate any help offered.

Thanks
