86 4-Trax plowing shocks

I just collected a 1986 4 Trax 350, with a plow blade and a Storm Cab (one of the heavier solid-plastic ones). The front shocks are sagging under the weight of the plow. Any recommendations on size and brand of shock to replace the stock ones? PO fortunately replaced the rear ones at some point with something that at least has adjustable pre-load.

I’m sure that I will be having more questions as I dig into my new purchase a little.

TRX300 Front Brake Issue…

Had one brought to me with the front brakes locked up. Pulled them, and 3 of the 4 pistons were stuck. Anyway, I got them freed up, cleaned as best I could, bled, and reinstalled. Not a brake expert(obviously since I’m asking the question), but have done a bunch of them in the past.

My issue — is that they are tightening up, and I can’t figure out why. I’m guessing with significant riding — they are eventually going to lock back up. I’ve had them apart 3x now and am still getting the same result. Brake handle is tight. Loosen the adjustment nuts and it feels normal. A couple of pumps later — it’s tight again. Doesn’t matter how loose I set it. Anybody have any ideas here on what is causing this? I’m not to wits end — but I am at a loss.

Taos NM with 1986 4-Trax

Just picked up a 1986 4-Trax, my first ever ATV. Has kind of a crap plow that I think will work better if I can put some beefier shocks up front. Also has a Storm Cab, one of the solid plastic ones. I reckon if it is cold and snowy enough to be out plowing, I’ll be more comfortable with it.

trailboss 250 liberated parts

So someone stole my wheels, battery and winch from my trailboss 250.
It’s a 1993 trail boss 250 4×4 2 stroke. When the battery was stolen the theives litterally ripped it out and now I have a red with a white stripe and a connector hanging out from near the battery and a ripped ground wire still half attached to the frame. Where do these wires attach? I’ve looked at diagrams and it doesn’t look like it goes to the battery, so where does it go. I’ve bought new wheels, and tires that are similar but not sure if I can even get it started again with the vandalism that occurred. Why cant thieves just take the whole dam machine so I can claim the insurance instead of buying new parts AGAIN?
