Polaris to Can Am

Hey Guys! I have been around ATVs and dirt bikes most my life and just ordered an Xmr 650 about an hour ago. I am leaving the Polaris world for the Can Am world and hope I am making the right choice. In the last 9 months to a year my Sportsman 850 has been giving me nothing but problems and decided a 2017 Xmr 650 would do me just fine. Look forward to learning a lot on the forum. Below is a pic of my Sportsman.

Finished 94 TRX300FW

Beautiful day here in western mass so I took a ride on my "new to me" 4trax.

I did the real first ride this past Sunday with some friends on our 100+ acre hunting area. 3 kaws and 2 hondas.

The "cabin" as we call it is just literally across the street from my house on Steerage Rock in my home town.

Pic from this afternoon, you can see my town with the church steeple.

She runs strong and I was lucky the only things wrong with her, outside of a new carb and clutch adjustment, were cosmetic.

Gonna enjoy her up on the mountain quite a bit.

STI HD Beadlocks and Interco Reptiles

Hey all,

I have a set of STI HD Beadlocks and Interco Reptiles for sale. I originally bought these for an Ace 570 (http://www.aceforums.net/forum/38-ac…html#post12023) but kept them for my Scrambler. I realize I don’t do much mudding so these tires have sat in my workshop for over a year unused now.

The wheels are 14×7 with a 4.0+3.0 offset. Bolt pattern is typical Polaris 4/156mm. I also have two sets of lugnuts for both rough and fine thread pitches. The tires are 26×10-14. On the Ace, they definitely stuck out and made it around 52" wide, on the Scrambler they also stick out with a 52" stance. They currently have black lock rings on them, I also have blue ones that match the Voodoo blue machines.

These tires have never been punctured or patched and are still like-new. Tread looks great and I have never been stuck with these tires, they are absolutely amazing for a radial.

Asking $700 for everything. Located in Island Lake, IL 60042. If you’re located in WI, MI, IN, or IA, I am willing to meet you half way. I have no desire to ship these and prefer a "local" sale. If you prefer, PM me your phone number if you would rather text/call.

Newbie with an 85 4 trax 250

Just inherited my father in law’s 4 trax. I’ve worked on motorcycles and cars so I’m assuming I’ll be able to handle repairs…with your help of course.
First question, what are the best web sites to get new and used parts and accessories for an ATV this old
Second, it tends to stall out when going through water; not just high water, even puddles will occasionally shut it down. I’ve searched for frayed wires and other obvious things but didn’t find anything. Any ideas of where to look next?
thanks for your help!
