Diff lock light blinking but won’t engage

2002 grizzly 660. I’ve owned the beast for about a year and the 4×4/diff lock wasn’t working when I bought it. I’m just now getting around to fixing it and having some issues. I got the 4×4 to work by replacing the motor inside the servo. ( I am not electrically savvy whatsoever so sorry if I’m not using the correct lingo). It bench tested fine using the 2 c batteries. Installed the servo back on the diff and will now go into 2 or 4 wheel drive just fine. When I turn on the diff lock the light on the cluster blinks but never engages or makes any noise. Before reinstalling the servo, I made sure the rack gear that moves the fork slid freely side to side. Not sure where to go next, any help is appreciated.

New to the site.. but not to grizzlies.

Bought my Grizzly in 2004.. when I was 14 years old with the help from my dad… worked everyday after school and weekends to make the payments. 12 years later I still have it.. I moved away for a while and it sat around but I’m back now, going through it to fix what is needed. Anyways, my names Travis, I’m 26 years old and from Northern NY. :gcrules::rocker:

2002 Trail Boss cylinder head question

I searched the threads, the Internet and could not find an answer. Need to know if cylinders are interchangeable between 2000-2002 "325cc" model if the rocker boxs are different. I have a breather box on top of mine rocker box (2002 Trail Boss) but found a used cylinder head with a rocker box without the breather, just a "normal" looking rocker box. Can I used just the cylinder head and put my rocker box on it?

2005 Polaris 500 starting problems and oil leak

I’ve got a 2005 predator 500 takes a few times to start then after it runs for awhile when I turn it off takes forever to start back up. Cleaned the carb and fuel lines added a fuel filter. Still having the problem. Also has a oil leak behind front sprocket changed the seal still leaking. Shit is getting aggravating at this point any suggestions. Thanks

Plow mount for Grizzly?

Hey folks. I have a plow mount that I was told was for the grizzly. There are no part #’s or anything on the two pieces. I’m trying to figure out if these will work on my 2012 Grizzly 550 without having to lift the quad and remove the skid plate to attempt to mount them. Can anyone tell by these pics if the plow mount is for a grizzly? Any easier way to find out without going through the install? Thanks!!

I broke my oil plug dipstick

Hi – I have a 2001 Polaris Magnum 2×4

I have to admit I’m guilty of neglecting my Polaris for sometime.

I decided to change the oil in it and everything went fine until I had to get the oil plug/gauge out. It was stuck really tight and in the process of getting it loose I broke the thumb tab thing off the cap, I managed to get the plug out with a small pipe wrench but I had to put it back in the same way I got it out. I don’t know why it was so difficult to thread back in, I didn’t cross thread it. It almost seems like the threads in the aluminum are corroded or gunked up or something.

I looked around for a new one and the plug/gauge is obsolete, the obsolete P/N is 3087064 . I did some searching around and found were someone used a plug/gauge from a 2001 325 Trail Boss I think and that P/N is 3087128.

I suppose I should just order one and try it, they aren’t very expensive but I thought I would ask the guys on this Polaris forum if they know if it would work.

Thanks (sorry about the length of this post)

Terry
