I replaced the fuel and broken choke lever on my 425 this afternoon, and it started and ran well. I let it idle in the driveway for a few minutes, and then I decided to ride it around the block. I went about 3/4 mile, and when I pulled up to a stop sign, it died. After repeated attempts to restart, I pulled it home. I pulled the plug, and I have no spark. I believe it will start tomorrow and run for a few minutes, and then quit again, because this is exactly what it did before I let it sit for 9 months. Any ideas or experience with this?

I have ten year old polaris that is great on dry ground. When we duck hunt we get up to, but not over, exhaust. Water gets in belt casing, belt slips and I am stuck. I have been told they corrected that issue on newer models. Any advice? Thanks
Newbie here wondering if somebody could help me I have a 97 scrambler I got a good deal on some rims and tires that came off on 04 Sportsman I need to change my rear axle hubs or get an adapter to go from the 4×4 to 4×156 pattern I can’t seem to find what I need anywhere on the internet thanks
I’m having a voltage issue with my 05 Sportsman 700 EFI. The battery light and speedo needle blink with the key on. Also, I am only getting about 9 volts of power to the dash and cigarette lighter at the headlight pod, which is causing the dash display to be very hard to read due to the low voltage. I am getting over 12 volts everywhere else, including let’s say the accessory wire for the winch at the front of the quad. I have installed a new battery. I have a repair manual and conducted the numerous tests for the stator and voltage regulator, all checking out fine. I even replaced the voltage regulator on a whim and that did not fix it. I cleaned the grounds bolted to the rear of the frame. The battery is charging fine. I am assuming my battery light blinking and low voltage at the speedo display are related. Does anyone have any recomendations? I am lost!
I ordered a new cdi box for my 93 fourtrax Trx 300. Is it Normal for the newer box to be much smaller than the original? It’s just slightly bigger than the alarm box next to the cdi. Just curious if it’s the right part. Any help is appreciated
Hello ATV hobby members. I just did buy (yesterday) a 2013 new Honda Foreman. Of course I rode it as a brake in experiment. Tip #1: do not try to park the ATV 4×4 in low gear in the back of your truck. It seems so logical and it almost fits. It fits better after you bust the rear window:frown:, I can attest to that:redface:. Now i’m shopping for a trailer (found one too). Else, I really enjoy the ride. This is just what I have been needing to get me out of the house and out doors. I may even go o’nite camping.
Hi All,
So, I replaced a battery and a starter relay on my Kodiak. When I turn the key there is power(display, lights etc.) However, when I press the starter button, nothing- no clicking- nothing.
When I jump the relay it turns over, however. It can’t be the relay as it was the exact same before I replaced it. Any suggestions? I have a voltmeter, also.
